This Privacy Policy explains how SIA "EKO VIVE" ("we", "us") collects and processes personal data when you use our website ekovive.com, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Latvian data protection law.
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
SIA "EKO VIVE", registration No. 40203610206, registered address Meža prospekts 46-1, Jūrmala, LV-2010, Latvia. Contact: contact.ekovive@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
We only collect the personal data you choose to give us through our contact form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company name (optional)
- The content of your message
Our server may also process your IP address and browser information as part of standard web traffic, and the form submission includes technical metadata used to prevent spam.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
We process this data solely to respond to your enquiry and to communicate with you about EKO VIVE. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in responding to business enquiries, and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) given when you submit the form. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
4. Who processes your data
Contact form submissions are delivered to us through Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service that forwards the message to our email inbox. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf. Our email is hosted on Google (Gmail). Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms and appropriate safeguards.
5. Cookies and local storage
Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use a small amount of "local storage" in your browser only to remember your language and cookie-notice preference. This is strictly necessary for the site to function and does not identify you. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up business relationship. Web3Forms stores submissions for up to 30 days on its free plan; the copy in our email inbox is kept until it is no longer needed and then deleted.
7. Your rights (including DSAR)
Under the GDPR you have the right to submit a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) and to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to our processing
- Request data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact.ekovive@gmail.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv).
